Fleam Dyke – An Illustrated Presentation
An Anglo-Saxon Wonder on our doorstep! Monday 15th September at 7.30pm. (with Q & A) Wilbrahams' Memorial Hall, Angle End, Great Wilbraham
Published: 31 August 2025
The Dyke, between Great Wilbraham and Fulbourn, was built 1500-1800 years ago! Why? How? Up to 7 metres high it still stands today.
Mark Ricketts of the Wildlife Trust, which now owns much of the Dyke, will give an illustrated presentation of why it is so special and what the Trust is planning to do to manage it and increase public access.
And, why not join our Work Party on the Dyke on 23rd September?
